Hello friends, I’m back in Uganda. I’ve been back about a week but still trying to adjust. The trip was really quick and really fun. I had a great time at my niece’s wedding. Congratulations Zach and Kyleen. It was an amazing day for me, thank you for letting me be a part of it. I got to see my family and got to visit my home church. Even some of you face to face. The trip was so nice, thank you to everyone who prayed for this and for everything that went in to making the trip happen. So many people helped to get me there and I’m thankful.
Since coming back, it’s rainy season here and there’s been quite a lot of rain with quite a lot of high winds. We’ve actually lost a tree on the compound. But God takes care of us, even in a downed tree. When the tree fell it didn’t hit anything, it didn’t hit anyone, it didn’t take any wires down. God favor for sure. Then the next day Beverly arranged for some prisoners on work release to come chop it up and remove it. The prisoners got some work and some firewood and they did an excellent job removing it, little sticks and all. We’re thankful for them. We’re sad the tree won’t be outbid shade for the garden anymore but I think the garden will be fine.
Besides that I’ve been preparing for the Scripture Union Outreach which is Saturday. Doing the last minute planning and getting everything organized so that we can go out and share the love of Christ with those students. Thank you for praying for that.
Upcoming, of course, is Easter. Then we have the team coming. If you could keep these things covered in prayer plus for me to get back into the groove of things in this timezone.
I appreciate you and I’ll talk to you next week.
Final note: care team meeting Saturday 8am mountain time.
